Al-Dar Institute will award a certificate to all participants who achieve the required standard in the module and course information tests.

How to succeed in your assessments

Al-Dar Institute qualifications are assessed in a variety of ways.   All the assessments have been developed by people who have experience of that subject area.  The assessments are designed to give you, the candidate, an opportunity to show the assessor or examiner what you know and what you can do. Assessors do not have to pass or fail a set number or percentage of candidates.  If your skills and knowledge have reached the required standard you will pass your assessment.

You will be assessed in one or more of the following ways

• Practical tests
• Projects
• Assignments
• Oral questions
• Written examinations (multiple-choice, short answers or structured question.  A structure question is one which is in several parts).
